- 6 kg calabaza de castilla
- 1 kg guayabas
- 2 kg piloncillo
- 2 rajitas canela
- 3 kg camote
- c/n Agua
- 1 cdita cal
Instructions to make to make Dulce de calabaza
- Partimos la calabaza en pedazos delntamañonde tu preferencia y después en una olla grande ponemos agua y la cda de cal (el agua tiene que cubrir la calabaza) y aquí vamos a poner nuestra calabaza de 15 a 20 min, esto nos va a servir para que cuando pongamos a cocer la calabaza no se nos deshaga
- Si tienes un cazo de cobre puedes hacerla ahí pero recuerda lavar tu cazo primero con vinagre y limón, lo dejamos que se caliente un poco, le apagamos y después lavamos como normalmente lo hacemos
- Ya que pasaron los 15 o 20 min, sacamos la calabaza del agua con cal y la enjuagamos perfectamente con agua de garrafon
- Ya limpia le hacemos cortes cuadrados no tan profundos para que al momento de cocer le entre bien el piloncillo
- Lavamos perfectamente los camotes y le cortamos las puntas
- Partimos en mitades las guayabas
- Una vez que tenemos nuestra fruta limpia y partida la vamos acomodando en el cazo, una capa de calabaza, una de camote y una de guayabas y le ponemos unos pédacitos de canela y unos piloncillos
- Ya que tenemos todo en el cazo, le agregamos una taza de agua, lontapamos y le prendemos a fuego alto para dejar que suelte hervor
- Ya que hirvió le bajamos a la flama y dejamos cocer por aproximadamente 3 horas
- Y después de 3 horas podemos disfrutar de nuesto delicioso dulce de calabaza que podemos acompañar con un vaso de leche fría
